About The Speaker

Dr. Anne R. Bradley is the Dean of Academic Affairs and the George and Sally Mayer Fellow for Economic Education at The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) and a Senior Affiliate at the Acton Institute. IFWE readers will know that she formerly served as the Vice President for Economic Initiatives for the Institute.

In addition to being a regular contributor for both Praxis Circle and IFWE, Dr. Bradley is also a co-author of “Counting the Cost: Christian Perspectives on Capitalism,” “For the Least of These: A Biblical Answer to Poverty,” and “Be Fruitful and Multiply: Why Economics is Necessary for Making God-Pleasing Decisions.” She earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from James Madison University, and both her PhD and master’s degree in Economics from George Mason University. Douglas Monroe

Doug is a graduate of Woodberry Forest School (1974) and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1978), where he was a Morehead Scholar. He is also a graduate of the University of Virginia Schools of Law and Business (1982) where he received his J.D. and M.B.A. Doug passed the N.C. Bar Examination and earned his C.P.A. designation. After a long career as an investment banker in the U.S. in mergers and acquisitions and private equity, Doug began a full-time effort to establish the Praxis Circle as a non-profit, educational organization dedicated to building worldviews.
