Most Christians have been trained to view stewardship in a narrow way that does not live up to the biblical standard. Stewardship consists of so much more than tithing and caring for the environment—it has to do with every choice each person makes.
Christians need to be able to discern their gifts in order to better understand who they are made to be…
We have all seen signs that say, “Private Property: Keep Out,” or, “Private Property: No Trespassing.” Seeing such a sign is not likely to make you leap for joy. But perhaps it should.
In order to better understand who they are made to be and what they are to do in their work, it is essential for Christians to discern their gifts. Is biblical law still valid under the New Testament? How can it help us in our lives and our daily work? Biblical law can help Christians in their daily work and as they engage the world around them.

What does it mean to be made in the image of God? Will we ever grasp its significance? While we are fallen and imperfect, we know that we have inherent dignity as image-bearers of God. Moreover, God has redeemed us and is restoring us to become more like him. We are to reflect this restoration by growing in creativity, working for the restoration of the earth, and acknowledging the grace of God.
