Visiting Scholar

david kotterDavid Kotter serves as a Visiting Scholar and a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Faith, Work & Economics. He teaches graduate economics, finance, and global business for Colorado Christian University. Professionally he worked for Ford Motor Company as the finance director of a manufacturing plant in Europe, as a financial analyst at the world headquarters in Michigan, and as a financial advocate for the minority supply base. After attending seminary later in life, he was invited to be one of the founding pastors of CrossWay Community Church and by God’s grace saw the church grow from under eighty people to over eight hundred.

He graduated Summa Cum Laude with four degrees: an MBA and B.S. in Engineering from the University of Illinois and an M.Div. and M.A. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He earned a Ph.D. in NewTestament studies from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary

David has been married to Ana for 23 years and plays basketball with their three children, Joshua, Caleb, and Lydia.
