Have you ever felt like what you do Monday through Friday at work may not have any value to God or the world?
Many people struggle to find any meaning in their work. Some think work is just a place to earn a paycheck and wait for retirement when they can then contribute to something meaningful.
Businessman Hugh Whelchel was that sort of person, but deep down in his heart he knew there had to be more. His thorough biblical analysis reveals the importance of work within the grand story of God’s purpose throughout history. Hugh currently serves as executive director of IFWE.
In these sessions you will discover: the rich biblical meaning of work; the difference between work, vocation, and calling as a Christian; the history of the Christian view of work; the call to “reweave shalom” through your job.
