Communications Associate

Elise Amyx is the Communications Associate at the Institute. She manages events and conferences and works to cultivate external relationships. She also provides media relations support, writing and editorial support, and oversees media channel acquisition and op-ed placement.

Elise grew up in Fairfax Station, Virginia and she graduated from James Madison University in May 2011 with a BBA in Economics with a concentration in European Business. Previously, Elise worked as the Business Development Coordinator at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C. She has also served as an intern for the Values and Capitalism Project at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C. and an intern for the Acton Institute in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
